Julissa Bermudez In just a few years, Julissa Bermudez has established herself as one of the most sought after talents in media as a first-rate television broadcast personality and film and television actress. Bermudez’s boundless energy, beauty, drive, and determination have quickly made her the “IT” girl in entertainment.  Watched by millions everyday, mothers nationwide see her as the girl next door, while young girls admire her confidence and style.  In addition to winning the hearts of America’s TV viewing audience, Bermudez’s personality and presence have made her a favorite interviewer to A-list stars Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Tom Cruise, Will Smith, and Beyonce, to name some.

Bermudez will next be seen on the big screen in the critically acclaimed independent release of Harlem Hostel executively produced by Montesuma Esparza (Selena, Introducing Dorothy Dandrige) and the Weinstein company film Make It Happen, opposite Mary Elizabeth Winstead.  Bermudez was most recently seen hosting Jersey Shore After Hours on MTV with the media phenom cast of the Jersey Shore.

Bermudez made her debut in 2003, representing the face of the New American Girl in a multi-cultural world on Telemundo/NBC sister channel MUN2 as the bilingual host to The Roof.  In 2005 Bermudez broke boundaries as the first Latina host on two of BET’s hit shows, 106 & Park Live and The Center.  Since then, Bermudez has appeared as host of various MTV programs including Total Request Live, New Year’s Eve 2009, and America’s Best Dance Crew.

A strong believer in giving back to the community, amid a busy schedule she lends support to several notable charities.  Bermudez participates in MAC’s World Aids Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Walks, and traveled to her native country the Dominican Republic with Soles United, to distribute more than 10,000 pairs of shoes during the devastation of Hurricane Noel.  Bermudez dreams of going back to the Dominican Republic to open an art school for where under privileged kids will be exposed to the arts in ways they otherwise would not.

Bermudez currently resides in New York City.
